If you don\u2019t get one, check if one has been created or not.<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration:underline;\">Make sure that\u00a0<strong>System Restore is enabled<\/strong>\u00a0on the\u00a0<a id=\"KonaLink1\" href=\"http:\/\/www.winvistaclub.com\/t89.html#\"><span style=\"color:#215ac3;text-decoration:underline;\">drives<\/span><\/a>\u00a0where you want System Restore enabled<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration:underline;\">Make sure that you have\u00a0<strong>sufficient disk space<\/strong>\u00a0on all the drives where System Restore is enabled<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration:underline;\">Type\u00a0<em>Services.msc<\/em>\u00a0in Start Menu Search Box, hit Enter. Make sure that the\u00a0<strong>Volume\u00a0<a id=\"KonaLink2\" href=\"http:\/\/www.winvistaclub.com\/t89.html#\"><span style=\"color:#215ac3;text-decoration:underline;\">ShadowCopy<\/span><\/a>\u00a0&amp; Task Schedular Services<\/strong>\u00a0is Running and set on Automatic. If the Status of System Restore Service is not Started, Start it. Also set it on Automatic if it is not. A reboot may be required. Re-confirm again, and now try.<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Type\u00a0<em>eventvwr.msc \/s\u00a0<\/em>in Start Menu Search Box &amp; hit Enter to open the<strong>\u00a0<a id=\"KonaLink3\" href=\"http:\/\/www.winvistaclub.com\/t89.html#\"><span style=\"color:#215ac3;\">Event\u00a0Viewer<\/span><\/a><\/strong>. Double-click on\u00a0<strong>Applications &amp; Services Logs<\/strong>\u00a0and see if you are able to evaluate the event description or the cause of problem.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Reset the Repository.\u00a0<\/strong>To do so follows these steps:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Try one or more of the steps, one after the other.
